Is a polar fleece sheet a good liner for a waterproof sheet for a horse in winter?

I bought the sheet an inch smaller than the blanket so it should not get exposure to the elements. The sheet is a Weatherbeeta and I’ve found it to be very waterproof. Will put updates when the liner arrives.

Under a waterproof blanket it’s a great one! They are soft and don’t rub your horse. The only complaint about them I have is you have to be careful taking them off because they get some major static going if you just slide them off!
